The AP French Exam Preparation Program is a course designed to assist students in preparing for the Advanced Placement French Exam, a standardized test that evaluates their knowledge and understanding of the French language and literature.
The AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam Preparation Program is a course designed to help students prepare for the Advanced Placement Spanish Exam. Beyond language skills, the program delves into the cultural nuances of Spanish-speaking communities worldwide, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
Spanish II is intended to introduce students to the intermediate and advanced ideas of Spanish study. Emphasis will be placed on pronunciation, complex grammatical structures, vocabulary & more academic conversations. The course will also offer an approach to a well-rounded set of skills in listening, reading comprehension and writing. The course is taught by a native Spanish-speaking teacher.
The purpose of this course is to provide students with no or very limited experience with French language and Francophone cultures an essential foundation to their language learning. Students that successfully follow and complete the course will attain an A1.1 (CEFR) or Novice Mid (ACTFL) proficiency level of French.
Introduce students to the basic ideas of Spanish learning. The emphasis will be on pronunciation, basic grammatical structure, vocabulary, culture and basic dialogue. The course will also provide practice on listening, reading comprehension, speaking and writing.
