Aralia Student Results

We are thrilled to announce the remarkable achievement of an Aralia student, who has been successfully published in the esteemed Summer 2024 issue of The Concord Review (TCR)! Their dedication to academic excellence and rigorous research has earned them a well-deserved place in this prestigious publication.

Introduction to The Concord Review

The Concord Review is an academic journal dedicated to publishing historical research papers written by high school students. The quarterly journal has published 1,362 research papers from authors in 46 states and 41 countries. Many of The Concord Review authors have gone to prestigious universities and colleges across the US and worldwide, such as  Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, Oxford, and Cornell! To this day, it remains the only quarterly journal in the world that publishes academic history papers by secondary students.

For aspiring contributors, The Concord Review accepts essays on a “rolling admissions” basis. Essays are accepted throughout the year and considered for publication in the subsequent four issues of the journal. Submission deadlines are as follows:

Summer Issue – February 1

Fall Issue – May 1

Winter Issue – August 1

Spring Issue – November 1

The selective nature of The Concord Review’s publication process is evident in its acceptance rate, which hovers around a mere 5%. This statistic underscores the journal’s rigorous standards and the prestige associated with being published in The Concord Review. Despite the high volume of submissions from students worldwide, only a select few are selected for publication, a testament to the quality of the work showcased within its pages.

Again, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Aralia student whose scholarly endeavors have earned them recognition in The Concord Review. Your achievements inspire us all, and we eagerly anticipate the continued success of our students in their academic pursuits!
