Introduction
World Scholar’s Cup Preparation class focuses on helping students excel in the Collaborative Writing section. Students will learn to analyze prompts, brainstorm effectively, structure persuasive and creative essays, and collaborate seamlessly with their teammates, while building confidence and time management skills.
Class Outcomes
In this class, students will learn to:
- Practice creative, argumentative, and persuasive writing.
- Analyze prompts effectively and brainstorm ideas quickly.
- Write clear, well-structured essays with thought-provoking content, engaging style, and original ideas.
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members to produce cohesive essays.
- Apply persuasive and narrative writing techniques suited to WSC prompts.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
