YIS Young Investors Society Global Stock Pitch Competition
The Stock Pitch Competition organized by the Young Investors Society (YIS) is an engaging opportunity for high school students worldwide to develop and showcase their investment analysis skills.
Aralia does not currently offer a preparation class for this competition.

Competition Details
1. Competition Format
Students (solo or teams of 2) choose a publicly traded company and develop a full stock recommendation (Buy or Sell).
Participants conduct financial research and valuation analysis, and develop a professional stock pitch with a clear Buy or Sell recommendation. Students present and defend their investment recommendations before industry professionals, gaining practical experience in financial analysis, investing, and public speaking.
2. Submission Details
All participants must submit three materials:
- Stock Pitch Report: A written analysis of a publicly traded company, including financial research, valuation, and a Buy or Sell recommendation.
- PowerPoint Presentation: A slide deck summarizing the investment thesis and supporting analysis.
YouTube Video Link: A recorded presentation of the team’s stock pitch.
Students then present and defend their analysis before industry professionals.
3. Timeline
- Registration Opens: December 15, 2026
- Registration & Submission Deadline: February 19, 2027
Summit Dates: May 25–26, 2027
4. Progression
The competition begins with state, territory, and international qualifying events.
- Top 100 Teams: Invited to compete in the Quarterfinals at the Global Youth Investment Summit in New York City.
- Top 24 Teams: Advance to the Semifinals.
- Top 5 Teams: Advance to the Championship Round.
5. Support Resources
- Preparation Materials: Participants have access to tutorial videos, templates, and guidelines to help them prepare.
- Stock Pitch Prep Night: This event is a Zoom session with Regional Advisory Board Members and judges. The session will cover presentation tips, scoring criteria, and answers to common questions.
