Class Introduction
Welcome to our Paideia High School Essay Contest Preparation class! In this class, students will delve deeper into classical Greek and craft persuasive essays for the Paideia High School Essay Contest.
Outcome
- Develop advanced writing skills, including research, analysis, and persuasive argumentation.
- Gain a deeper understanding of classical Greek language, literature, history, and art.
- Articulate compelling reasons for studying ancient Greece and advocate for its value to a broader audience through writing.
- Prepare an essay for the competition
Class Structure
Approximately 5-10 hours of one-on-one sessions, with the option to adjust the hours depending on the student’s specific situation and needs.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
