What is DECA?

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is an internationally recognized organization that prepares high school students for careers in business and leadership.
Through competitions and experiential learning activities, DECA develops students’ abilities in:
- Business management
- Marketing
- Entrepreneurship and innovation
- Finance and accounting
- Communication and leadership
Known as one of the most prestigious and practical business competitions for students, DECA evaluates participants through realistic business simulations, case studies, presentations, and Q&A sessions.
Advancing to the state level is a significant accomplishment and an important step toward the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), often called the “Olympics of the business world.”
