Class Introduction
This course will guide students in preparing for the LSESU Economics Society Essay Competition, discussing tips on award-winning strategies. It uses a one-on-one teaching model, aiming to help students polish their entries before submission.
Outcome
- Develop advanced analytical and critical thinking skills essential for addressing complex economic questions.
- Enhance their ability to articulate and support persuasive arguments through well-structured essays.
- Gain a deep understanding of economic theories and their practical implications in contemporary society.
- Feel well-prepared to participate in the LSESU Essay Competition.
Class Structure
Approximately 5-10 hours of one-on-one sessions, with the option to adjust the hours depending on the student’s specific situation and needs.
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
