2-4Research & Thesis:

Take organized notes and formulate a clear, nuanced, and defensible thesis
5Outline:
Create a skeletal outline for the paper, with all research material plugged into the appropriate sections
6-8Drafting:
Write the body of the paper first, one section at a time.
Then, draft the introduction, including a suitable hook and conclusion.
9-10Revising & Editing:
Review all written material for accuracy, style, and completeness.
Complete the bibliography & footnotes.
Feedback

Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
