We will provide guidance on approaching multiple-choice and free-response questions, helping you develop the skills needed for success. By participating in this course, you'll gain the knowledge and strategies necessary to excel in the AP Calculus BC exam.

Class Introduction

This course is tailored for students who are preparing to take the AP Calculus BC exam. It covers AP Calculus BC-specific topics such as Parametric Equations, Polar Coordinates, Vector-Valued Functions, and Infinite Sequences and Series.

After completing the class, students can expect the following outcomes:

  • Students will acquire a thorough understanding of AP Calculus BC-specific topics.
  • Through practice and guidance, students will develop strong problem-solving abilities.
  • The course will prepare students for the rigor and format of the AP Calculus BC exam. They will become familiar with the types of questions asked, time management strategies, and techniques for maximizing their performance on the exam.

  • Integration by parts
  • The method of partial fractions

  • Displacement, distance, and position of a particle moving according to a vector-valued or parametric function

  • Analysis of polar graphs using derivatives
  • Areas bounded by polar curves

Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class, regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email.
