Class introduction
The AP Latin Exam Preparation Program is a course designed to help students prepare for the Advanced Placement (AP) Latin Exam. Through this program, students will have the opportunity to develop their skills in reading, translation, and analysis of Latin texts, as well as their understanding of Roman culture and history. The course will cover various topics, including grammar, syntax, and literary analysis, and will use a combination of lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities to engage students in the material.
Outcome
- Know how to earn their desired score on the AP Latin exam
- Develop proficiency in reading, translating, and analyzing Latin texts
- Develop confidence in their ability to understand and analyze the language
- Develop the ability to comprehend questions quickly and respond correctly using the skills and strategy practiced during this course
Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email. At the end of the course, the student will receive a final report card, which thoroughly speaks to their overall participation in the course, including major assignments.
