Class Introduction
AP Computer Science Principles Prep course is a class designed to prepare students for the AP Computer Science Principles exam. The goal of the course is to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel on the exam. The course will focus on developing a deep understanding of programming structures and practices, including reading and writing code for computer programs. Additionally, the course may cover various other computing concepts such as the internet, data, global impact, and computational thinking. The teacher will also provide strategies and techniques for effectively answering multiple-choice questions related to computer science principles. The course will help students to gain a solid understanding of the key concepts and practices in computer science, and prepare them to excel on the AP Computer Science Principles exam and potentially earn college credit or advanced placement in computer science courses.

Feedback
Students and their parents will receive brief feedback after each class regarding the student’s general participation in class. Students will also receive feedback on graded assignments via email. At the end of the course, the student will receive a final report card, which thoroughly speaks to their overall participation in the course, including major assignments.
